Ruben is originally from Michoacán, Mexico, and began his tattooing journey over a decade ago in Guadalajara. Early on, he had the opportunity to tattoo in Argentina—an experience that cemented his passion and made it clear this was the path he’d follow for life. Since then, Ruben has tattooed in cities across the U.S., building friendships and collecting experiences that continue to shape his work and worldview.

While he enjoys working in a variety of styles, his favorite tattoos to create draw from pre-Hispanic concepts, reimagined through a traditional lens. For Ruben, tattooing is a lifelong pursuit rooted in passion, community, and the constant drive to grow as an artist.
