KNOTH

Jake was born and raised right here in the Grand Rapids area. After getting his first tattoos in his early twenties, he quickly fell in love with the culture, creativity, and community that define great tattoo shops. Years of collecting work and studying the nuance of American Traditional eventually led him to pursue tattooing himself, completing his apprenticeship under the Meeting House crew. He’ll mark four years in the craft in October of 2025.

Jake specializes in bold, timeless American Traditional tattoos, but he’s always happy to take on walk-ins or work with clients on custom designs. Whether it’s full color or black and grey, wizards or eagles—Jake brings intention, style, and solid execution to every piece. (He also enjoys long walks on the beach and oat milk cappuccinos, but we won’t hold that against him.)
